What We Do
Our notion of a business technology solution is a solution to a business problem that provides our customer with specific competitive advantages, unique to that customer and to their business, that typically are not provided with generic or packaged products or services. Our solutions incorporate a healthy dose of creativity along with pragmatism based upon our understanding of the customer's overall business goals. Our solutions also are the end product of a process that evaluates multiple approaches to the same goal and selects from them the best solution on the basis of cost and effectiveness. This selection process takes place in collaboration with the customer.

Muveka generally will not custom-engineer technology solutions to industry-standard business processes. For these applications, we believe that off-the-shelf products will provide the necessary plumbing at a lower cost. Rather, every successful business has qualities that allow it to rise above its competitors; we brainstorm, design, prototype and
develop the software and hardware fabric that amplifies these qualities.
How We Do It
We have invented the Muveka Methodology that focuses on people, tools, processes and ideas to remove obstacles to getting work done. Our Methodology focuses on four key areas,

The Tools – a relentless drive to improve productivity is the undercurrent for Muveka’s selection of tools and
technology. A process unique to Muveka removes barriers to productivity from hour to hour, day to day, week to week, by putting training and continuous collaboration at the center of our design, development and testing process. Training is intense, expected and high incentivized, having been baked into our culture at every level. Our pragmatism when it comes to evaluating technology and tools allow us to select tools, technologies and products that maximize productivity without hindrance. We are not afraid to mix and match traditional and contemporary techniques, and we do not shy away from change that improves our quality or shortens our turnaround.
The Process - just as Muveka relies on its people and tools to generate quality, consistency and conformity, we also rely on process to verify it. Our process, patterned upon an industry-standard SDLC, takes us from initial preparation of the project through to completion and close. Several phases constitute this process, and each phase includes a number of documents and tools, the details of which we will be happy to share with you. Keeping in line with the belief of communication is key, one of the central features of our methodology is the development of a web site specifically designed for each project client that tracks progress of the project through each phase. This is done in recognition of the belief that without strong communications, reporting and collaborative capabilities even the best intended projects can go astray. Furthermore, with each new client we provide a one day orientation of our Muveka Methodology describing the process for the project and taking the client through a sample delivery. This allows the customer to see what they will get; it allows us to make adjustments based on interaction and feedback from customer.
